The Saving the Elephants 10k Run/Walk will take place on Saturday, November 17th in beautiful Central Park, New York. One loop around the park allows for views of fall foliage and breaths of crisp fall air. The race will start at the just south of the 72nd street and East Drive intersection. Having completed the loop, you will finish up at the Naumburg Bandshell to cheering and smiling faces all united in the mission to save elephants.Register Here
Signing Up and Fundraising:
Once you have registered with Elite Feats, please sign up to MobileCause where you can start your fundraising efforts to help elephants. All funds raised here will go directly to the Zambezi Elephant Fund, where your support will help ensure elephants are protected for generations to come. Race Packet Pickup:
Day before the race: If you live or work in or around Manhattan, please stop by JackRabbit Sports at 140 West 72nd Street New York NY, 10023 (between Columbus and Broadway) between 11am – 7pm on Friday, 16th November to pick up your race packet, including your race number.
Day of race: If you can’t pick up your registration packet the day before, you will have the opportunity to pick up your packet at the Naumberg Bandshell in Central Park (just West of the Bethesda Fountain) starting at 7:30am.
Travel by public transport:
The closest subways are the 6 train (68th street stop), B,C trains (72nd street stop) and the 1,2,3 trains (72nd street stop)
The start line will be a short walk from registration, which we will do together at 8:30am.
